Dear Fellow CSMB Members:

We are pleased to announce that beginning today April 6th , 2009 we have lowered our annual membership dues for all categories. The directors know first hand just how tough things are in our industry and wanted to make certain that they did everything they could in order to make the Society membership reasonable to pay in these difficult times.

So, beginning today the dues structure for our CSMB members is as follows:

Brokers membership fee has been reduced from $350.00 to $250.00
Affiliate membership fee has been reduced from $250.00 to $150.00
Lenders membership has been reduced from $500.00 to $400.00

In addition to the membership fees having been lowered the one time cost for connecting your web site to the CSMB has been reduced from $200.00 to $100.00

We hope that these changes will help you when you are asked to renew your membership with the CSMB. As always, we are looking out for our members and will continue to so whatever we can in order to save our members a few dollars.

NEW SOCIETY BEING FORMED
We now have members in all eight of the north east states.

The Society will be made up of members from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont and should be a very loud but positive voice in Washington .

The Society is not trying to replace any local or national Broker organization and will not be hosting a trade show, or offering education or sales training seminars, nor will it be offering any type of certification programs. The Society will not be requiring any type of job specific titles and will be open to everyone in the North East who deals directly with the Mortgage origination process.

As of today, the Society already has members from New York , Connecticut , New Hampshire and Massachusetts and will only grow in size when more people in our industry are made familiar with it and its purpose.
